Bhimtal is a tranquil hill station in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, situated at a distance of 22 kilometers from Nainital. It is situated at an elevation of 1,370 meters above mean sea level and is renowned for its serene surroundings, picturesque landscape, and the stunning Bhimtal Lake. In contrast to Nainital's crowded roads, Bhimtal has a quieter and more serene ambiance, and therefore it is one of the top weekend destinations from Delhi.

5. Naukuchiatal

Only 4 km from Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal is renowned for its nine-cornered lake and also well-known for paragliding, boating, and fishing.

6. Sattal

10 km from Bhimtal is Sattal, a complex of seven lakes encircled by thick forests. It is best for bird watching, trekking, and photography.
