A Glimpse into History

Lake Pichola was constructed in 1362 AD by tribesman Pichhu Banjara in the reign of Maharana Lakha . It was then beautified and enlarged by c (founder of Udaipur). Over time it became center to many royal constructions including the City Palace, Jag Mandir, and the famous Lake Palace (Jag Niwas). Today it is one of the most visited and photographed locations of Rajasthan.
